Milwaukee, WI, November 13, 2017

Constellation Web Solutions, Inc. (CWS), a provider of innovative online technology and marketing solutions for real estate brokerages, today announced that it has purchased the Relocation Specialist software from Professional Software Services, LLC. Originally released in 2001, Relocation Specialist (known generally as “ReloSpec”) provides relocation software solutions to many of the largest real estate brokerages and relocation service providers. ReloSpec provides easy-to-implement technology to help real estate professionals manage inbound and outbound referrals. This acquisition further expands CWS’s presence in providing powerful lead management tools for real estate brokers and their agents.

“We’re thrilled to bring ReloSpec into the CWS family of products. ReloSpec fits with our strong history and track-record for providing enterprise-grade solutions to help real estate brokers build and manage their businesses,” said Aaron Nummerdor, General Manager of CWS. “We look forward to continuing to deliver great products and services for the ReloSpec customers and to being a trusted partner to the industry.”

“We believe our respective products are complementary and provide our customers and staff with increased choice and opportunity. We are pleased to be part of CWS and look forward to working with them to serve our customers” said James Evans, President and Founder of ReloSpec.

ReloSpec Images Option Getting More Secure

This blog update is for those ReloSpec customers using the Images option.

Data security has always been an important part of the Relocation Specialist (ReloSpec) software.  Due to recent concerns about the security of the uploaded image files today we are announcing changes that are coming for those using the Images option which will be just as easy to use, but more secure.

What will change is the location of the uploaded image files and the way they are sent to others requiring a copy of the file.  The Images option has always included a way to email the file(s) to someone else.  The page that was sent included HTML links that allowed the user to view the file online.  That option is going away in favor of sending the file as an attachment.

And, viewing an uploaded file by the ReloSpec user will change slightly.  You’ll still click a button to view it, but rather than viewing the file within its folder, a copy of the file will be put into a temporary folder with a GUID-style ID number.  There will be no chance of someone being able to access uploaded image files.

In addition, certain ReloSpec forms include a photo (image) of the agent.  Those forms will be updated at a later time.  You may continue to use such forms; for now they just won’t include the agent’s photo.

We expect to have this security upgrade completed by tomorrow (Saturday, September 15th).

Will I see you in Atlanta?

Again this year Relocation Specialist (ReloSpec) is proud to be one of the sponsors for the Relocation Directors Council (RDC) meetings; this Spring in Atlanta.  RDC is an organization of relocation industry professionals and many of its members use ReloSpec.

We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday in Atlanta!
