ReloSpec Advisory Councils forming soon

Many of you have asked about the formation of a ReloSpec Advisory Council.  You have asked and we have listened.  Today we are announcing plans to form at least one Advisory Council and possibly three.

The purpose of the Advisory Council(s) is to identify ways that Relocation Specialist can be improved to meet the needs of specific groups of people.  We’re considering an Advisory Council for Cartus Network users, one for LeadingRE users and another for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/Prudential and other users.

We need your help in the formation of the Advisory Council(s).  What would you suggest for the following questions:

  1. How often should the Council meet?  (Once per month in a GoToMeeting format?)
  2. How many should be members of the Council?
  3. Does it make sense to have separate groups?  (eg. Cartus Network, LeadingRE, BHHS/Pru, etc?)
  4. How and when to report on Council activities?

Please let a member of the ReloSpec Team know your suggestions.  You may add comments here on the blog or email or call a Team member.

We look forward to your suggestions and participation.

Yes meet monthly with GoToMeeting, I feel there needs to be different groups as it is important to be educated and familiar with the systems used ie: I know NOTHING about Cartus but need a council member well versed in Relo Xchange to be beneficial to me.   Thank you so much-you guys are wonderful!

I think this is great. My suggestion would be to have three as you mentioned. Different networks require different information. Meeting once a month or once every two months would be advisable. I think 10-12 people on each council would be a nice range to give various opinions.

Let me know if I can help. Thanks.

I think this is a great idea. I would like to be considered for council, although that may have already been chosen. Don’t see any reason to separate, we could learn something. Meet once every 3/4 months. 10 to a council. Report every 3/4 months

  4. Michele Najera Says:

I think this is a great idea. It would be nice to have separate networks, but we could all bring something to the table and learn something. probably meet every three months or so and maybe 8-10 members.

    1. How often should the Council meet? (Once per month in a GoToMeeting format?) Once a quarter.

    2. How many should be members of the Council? One from each brand

    3. Does it make sense to have separate groups? (eg. Cartus Network, LeadingRE, BHHS/Pru, etc?) No need

    4. How and when to report on Council activities? Relospec employee take notes and report back once each session takes place

I would like to suggest myself.

I think meeting quarterly would be sufficient
Yes – I can see the value in having different councils for the Cartus / Leading Edge / Other
I would also recommend having a perhaps top council with one rep from each of the 3 groups
The top council would have 3 reps
The three representative councils – would recommend 6-8 representing various areas of the U.S.

I think that is a great idea. It will be a benefit for you to design what we need as a whole and get feed back quickly. I think the three would be great. Each network has individual needs and requirements. Every other month unless a need arises.

  10. Dee Emerson Says:

I think this is a terrific idea. This would be a great benefit to all users. Every quarter (gotomeeting) format should be sufficient. Don’t think there is a need to have separate council, we could all learn how to improve to better utilize program.
