New report: Activity Summary Compares 2 Years!

There is a new Advanced report that compares any date range for selected offices and compares the same date range for the same offices one year earlier in the same report.

From the REPORTS page, browse to the ‘Activity by Office – Condensed 2 Year’ (Advanced) report, enter your desired date range, select the Office(s) and click VIEW REPORT. It’s that simple!

Add the ‘Referral Source’ to your records

Want a separate field for keeping track of the Referral Source such as “Website”, “Network” or any other choice? From the Utility Settings page you can add the selections you want to use, then after clicking the pencil in the Referrals List page you can make your choice.

To find the records having a certain Referral Source, click SEARCH, select your choice from the Referral Source droplist and APPLY FILTER.

URGENT Responses Now Available

One of the great things about the Relocation Specialist software is the ability for have the system send regular update requests to agents and have them respond.  Their responses go right into the Responses table where you can review them, the “process” them into the Notes table for each record.

Sometimes the agent may be providing a response that requires your immediate attention.  Now, when the agent clicks the link in the email to open the page and enter the Comments, the agent can mark the response “Urgent” by checking the box just above the SUBMIT button. 

When the response is viewed in the Responses page, all “Urgent” responses will be at the top of the page with the first two fields highlighted in yellow.  That way your attention will be drawn to the most important responses first. 

This is a free upgrade for all ReloSpec users.  Enjoy!

ReloSpec Issues

ReloSpec is experiencing some technical issues today. Please know we are working diligently to solve them.
So far today, here is what we know:
If emails are being sent with an attachment that is greater than about 80Kb you’ll get an error and the email won’t be sent. This is whether it is manually or with AutoPilot
Uploads for eGrabber are not working
All Advanced reports are not working

We may need to re-boot the servers.

On-Site Training Seminar Announced

Want some extra training on the greatest relocation software around? Do you want to hear and see how others are using ReloSpec to their advantage? Do you have some questions you’ve always wanted to ask?

An on-site Training Seminar will be held Tuesday, October 11th in Denver, CO. This will be held the afternoon before the Relocation Director’s Council conference (RDC) and just before the ERC conference at the same location. This seminar will be hosted by Jim Evans, President of Relocation Specialist software and will be from 1:00PM to 4:30PM. Cost is $200.

You can now turn on and off notes and images

Option to Turn On or Turn Off Notes and Images displays
 
You now have the option to ‘Turn On’ or ‘Turn Off’ the Notes display at the bottom of the Referrals List page.  The default setting is to have the option ‘On’.  In the past the Notes for a given record were always displayed at the bottom of the page.  You can turn off this display by going to the Utility Settings, Users, select the User Name, click UPDATE, make your selection(s) and click UPDATE CURRENT RECORD.
 
For those using the Images (or Large Images) option, you have the new feature of being able to also display the list of Images at the bottom of the page!  The default setting for this option is ‘No’.  You may change the option to ‘Yes’ by going to the Utility Settings page, Users, select the User Name, click UPDATE, make your selection(s) and click UPDATE CURRENT RECORD. 
 
With the setting at ‘Yes’ you’ll be able to instantly view the Images associated with the Referrals table record, plus be able to click the link and view the Image online!

Cartus Corporate Homefinding Referral Report

Good news for Cartus users!  The Cartus Corporate Homefinding Referral Report has been added to the many Cartus FORMS included in Relocation Specialist.  From the FORMS link, browse to Cartus New Corporate Homefinding Referral Report, click the link in the email and you’ll see the form.  This new form may be included in your Action Plans and AutoPilot settings to be sent as needed; just like the other Cartus forms.

This is a free upgrade for all Cartus users.

ReloSpec Mobile Now Available

The ReloSpec Mobile version is now available.  From any smart device (smart phone, iPad, iPhone, etc.) you can ALREADY run the standard Relocation Specialist software just like on a standard PC. 

But now, when you login there is a new “Mobile?” check box next to the login button.  If you want to run the smaller, leaner Mobile version, click the check box then login.  It’s that simple!

You’ll have read/write access to your Referrals, Agents and Contacts tables, plus run your AutoPilots!  Want to make a quick call to an agent or contact?  Find them in the table, tap the phone number or email address in the grid display and your smart device will dial the number or start the email. 

This is a FREE feature being extended to all Relocation Specialist customers.

New Form: Email with Graphics

We have a new form named Email with Graphics which is a form that combines the user’s uploaded files for the Header and the Footer and a custom Body of Letter in between.  So, if a customer wants to send emails that include their Header.jpg file and a Footer.jpg file along with a Body of Letter they can now do it.

There is a 5-minute Training Video that is now available from the Training Videos page.  The link for the video file is http://rs.prosws.com/relospec/sql/videos/EmailWithGraphics.wmv

Since users will be uploading the Header.jpg and Footer.jpg files to their company’s Images folder, they must purchase the Images option to use this form.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it cost extra to use this new feature?

No.  If you already have the Images (or Large Images) option there is no cost to use the new Email with Graphics Form.  If you don’t have the Images option you may purchase it by contacting info@prosws.com.  More information about the Images option is at http://rs.prosws.com/products_Images.html

 

Can I change the Header.jpg or Footer.jpg images?

Yes.  You may add or delete image files as often as you like.

Do I have to name the image files “Header.jpg” and “Footer.jpg”?

Yes.  The form is looking for files with those names in your company’s Images folder.

Does it matter which Referrals table record I use to upload my Header and Footer images?

No.  You’ll select any Referrals table record, click the Images button and upload the file(s).  The point is to get the file(s) into your company’s Images folder.  Once there the file(s) may be used with any email.

Is there a Training Video available for this new feature?

Yes.  From the Main Menu click ‘Training Videos’, select the link for ‘Building and Using the Email with Graphics form.

Can I view a sample Email with Graphics?

Yes.  Login using DEMO/DEMO for the ID/Password, click Referrals, Forms, click ‘Lookup the Body of Letter’, select one, click ‘Return to Forms list’, browse to ‘Email with Graphics’ and click it.
