New Report: Expenses by Vendor

This report will allow you to select the Vendor and Date Range, then produce all expenses for that vendor.

One Customer’s feedback:

“I love it and thank you so much for doing this so quickly…it will be very helpful. Especially w/those vendors we use consistently like the landscapping company who wanted us to run the invoices to see which ones he had billed and which ones he still needed to send.” Rebecca, CENTURY 21 Alliance

Advanced Reports for Relocation Specialist

Advanced Reports for Relocation Specialist

Today we’re announcing the availability of Advanced Reports.  This exciting new feature comes as a free upgrade for all Relocation Specialist users who previously purchased the Report Generator software.

The new Advanced Reports are completely web-based and include new features not available before.  For example:

  • Nicely formatted reports may be saved or viewed in PDF, Excel or Word formats
  • May be printed or emailed as needed
  • Reports include column headings, groupings with subtotals and bar charts
  • Certain reports will compare current to ‘year ago’
  • Other reports include all activities In/Out plus Sales within same date range in the same report!

During the next few weeks, additional reports previously in the Report Generator will be added to the Advanced Reports list.

To view the new reports, click the REPORTS link on the left side of the Referrals List page.  NOTE:  For right now, it is common for the first Advanced report to take up to 30 seconds to open.  So, be patient for that first one.  After that, response times are much faster.

All ‘Standard’ reports you’re used to seeing are still available under the Category “Standard”.  All new Advanced reports are available under the Category “Advanced”.  All reports on the REPORTS page are grouped first by Category, then by report name alphabetically.

We appreciate the many suggestions from our valued customers which have led to the Advanced Reports option, and look forward to serving you better throughout the new year!

New Report added to ReloSpec

Printing Reports, Print Settings

If you want to print a form and it does not print on a single page, a few simple adjustments need to be made.

  1.  Pull the form up in ReloSpec and go to your tool bar at the top of the page- then press file.  Depending on the version of office that you have, you will do one of the following two things.
    1.  If you press preview and you have a tab that will allow you to change the percentage of your print then you can click on the tab and change the percentage to one that will reduce the print to a single page.  If you have one that says “shrink to fit”, that will automatically adjust it.
    2. If you do not have the tab in the print preview then you should go to page setup under the print option.  Here you can adjust your margins to fit more on a page.  You can go as low at .10 if you need to.

Once your print options are adjusted they will stay like that for future printing.

How do I run a report that will compare two years of information?

If you want to run a report that will compare records from one month of one year to same month for the next year, you need to run the roster report and put in as your received dates for both years. For example 4/1/08 through 4/1/09. Filter out any other fields that you need and download the report to the Relospec file keeping the name the same. (Roster)

Open any report that has “YTD” in the name. 4 boxes will open at the bottom of the page. In the Month Begin Date enter “4/1/2008”. In Month End Date enter “4/30/2008”. In YTD Begin Date enter “4/1/2009” and in YTD End Date enter “4/30/2009” and click PREVIEW.

To compare two years worth of records you and run the dates 1/1/07 through 12/31/08. In the Month Begin Date enter “1/1/07”. In Month End Date enter “12/31/07”. In YTD Begin Date enter “1/1/2008” and in YTD End Date enter “12/31/2008” and click PREVIEW

How do I run a report that covers more than one year?

To run a report that covers more than one year you would pull up Roster report in the reports list. Put in the dates you want to cover (ex: 01/01/08 through 5/1/09) and filter out any other parameters that you need. (type, status, subtype etc). If you want your report in date order, press the date heading on the report screen. Then press filter at the bottom of the screen and download your file to the Relospec file. Keep it the same name (Roster).

Once your file is downloaded you can run any of the reports in the list.

What are Favorite Reports and how do I select them?

Favorite Reports are those reports selected from the link of the same name in the Utility Settings page.  When the page is first opened it attempts to display only the favorite reports.  (If no ‘favorites’ have been selected, then all available reports will be displayed.)  To select a new ‘Favorite Report’ do the following:

  1. From the Main Menu, click Utility Settings.
  2. Click the Favorite Reports link.
  3. Click ADD NEW button
  4. Select the report you want to be included in the ‘favorites’ list and click the ADD NEW RECORD button.

*** Note:  When you select favorites these are not JUST YOUR favorites, they will be viewed as favorites by all those using your database.  If you have a large team please be sure you are all agreed on which forms need to be on this list.
