ReloSpec is delayed

We have been experiencing slow response times this morning, and currently the ReloSpec servers are not available. Our IT folks are working on the issue and we expect to have things back to normal soon.

Meanwhile, please try logging in every 20 minutes or so and soon you’ll be able to get back in.

ReloSpec Advisory Council Meeting Scheduled

Earlier this week we proposed a ReloSpec Advisory Council and the response has been tremendous!  Thank you for all your helpful input and encouragement!

Most of those responding suggested the following:

  • Meet once a month for a couple months to get organized, then once every 3 months
  • Have a separate groups for Cartus, LeadingRE and BHHS/Prudential/Others so we can focus on specific needs, but share ideas that all groups could use
  • Limit the number of Council members to 8-15 per group
  • Have a written agenda at least a few days before the meeting so all will be prepared with their input
  • Publish results of the meeting via email to Council members and make available to all ReloSpec users

So, would you like to participate?  Our first Advisory Council meeting will be a combined meeting next Thursday, March 13th at 11:00AM Central time.  If you want to join the meeting, please send an email to info@prosws.com   Once we have your email you’ll get a reply with the link to join the meeting along with a proposed agenda.  Here is the proposed schedule for Advisory Council meetings:

Update RE: Cartus 1st Two Weeks forms

Earlier today a blog was sent announcing two additional Cartus forms.  They are named ‘Cartus Affinity 1st Two Weeks HF’ and ‘Cartus Affinity 1st Two Weeks LST’.

As we understand it, the two new forms are to be used in conjunction with the monthly forms and do not replace them.  We apologize for any confusion this announcement may have caused.

And the Winner is…

At the beginning of November we announced the ‘Features Checklist’ survey.  The survey was designed to identify Relocation Specialist features that you may want to use, and get your suggestions for future enhancements.  We are very grateful that well over 200 of our ReloSpec customers completed the survey.

We are in the process of contacting those people that requested additional help, and you should hear from a member of the ReloSpec Team soon.

In connection with the survey, all who completed it had their names automatically entered into the drawing for the New Kindle HDX.  Suzanne Lail with Cottingham-Chalk & Associates was the lucky winner.  Congratulations to Suzanne and thank you to all who participated in the survey.

The Main Menu Page Has Changed

For those of you who have already logged into Relocation Specialist today, you probably noticed the Main Menu page has changed.  Most of the links you are used to using are still there, but the page is cleaner, brighter and better suited to today’s Internet.

Soon we be announcing our newly updated website as well.  It will perform better in the smart phone and web pad world.  We’re always looking for ways to improve!

Survey Responses are Great! More Needed

Three weeks ago we introduced the ‘ReloSpec Features’ survey and the response has been great. Over 200 ReloSpec users have completed the survey. The ReloSpec Team is busy following up with each one to help you with the features you want to know more about.

Some of the possible survey answers include statements like “Show me how” and “Set this up for me”. Many of you are taking advantage of our offer to help and we’re busy helping people take advantage of features you didn’t know about or hadn’t had time to setup yourself.

Though the response has been great, many of your have not completed the survey. Please take a few minutes to do so. Not only will you learn about cool features we can help you use, but you’ll be automatically eligible for the drawing of a new Kindle Fire HDX! The drawing will be Wednesday, November 27th.

Will We See You In Dallas?

Once again, Relocation Specialist is helping sponsor the Relocation Directors Council (RDC) conference, this time in Dallas.  The meetings are this Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Hyatt Anatole Hotel.

Add Images To Your Expenses; Let Corporate Users View/Approve

For those using the Images option there is a new feature you’ll find very handy.  Now you can tie the image to a specific expense.  Let’s say you have uploaded a receipt to the Images table and want it associated with a specific expense.  Just click the record for the expense, click the new Browse button, view images uploaded just for the one referral record your working on and select the one you want!

And, from the Expenses page you can simply click the image link in the grid and Preview the image.

But, there’s more.  Let’s say you have a Corporate client that needs to approve expenses.  Now the Corporate client can login to www.MyReloSpec.com using the ID/Password you assign, select the employee record, click the (new, coming this week) EXPENSES button, view the image (ie. receipts, whatever), and click the ‘Approve’ field to YES.  The [Approve] field is the ONLY field that the Corporate user can update.  All other fields are Read-Only.  The field will be updated and you’ll automatically get an email letting you know the expense was approved!

Speaking of Corporate users, the ‘Referrals List’ page is being changed to appear more as a “branded” page for your company.  Instead of “Referrals List” the heading will be the name of your company, and your company logo will be inserted in the upper-left corner of the page.

Responses Page; ‘Forward To’ Field Enhanced

As you probably know the Responses page allows you to view the responses coming back from agents and other contacts.  You have the chance to read the response then “process” it which moves the response into the Notes table for each referral record.

One of the great features is that if you click the pencil before “processing” the response there are a number of things you may want to do such as edit the spelling within the response, update the Referral Status or use the ‘Forward To’ field to select a person to whom you will forward a copy of the response.  In one quick step you can make the changes if needed and select the person to forward the response to.

But, what if you want to forward the response to more than one person?  Or, you want to insert an email address that isn’t in the droplist?

The new feature allows you to simply click the corresponding button for whoever is to receive the forwarded email.  And, since it is now an open field you can enter additional email addresses, separated by a semicolon.  You now have up to 100 characters available in this expanded field.

By using this new feature you can save time by quickly editing the response, making updates to Status and other settings as well as use the ‘Forward To’ field to identify those who will receive the emailed update.

Introducing AutoPilot Express; Send AutoPilots Without Logging In!

Today we are announcing AutoPilot Express.  It is one of the most significant features in the history of Relocation Specialist!  ReloSpec can now send your AutoPilots for you even if you have not logged in.  Do you have AutoPilot emails that need to be sent on the weekend or on days that you’re not working?  How would you like to have them sent for you automatically?

Imagine the time this will save you!  You can schedule update requests from agents or even schedule reports to be sent to your agents or managers, then have AutoPilot Express send them on the date they’re due.

How does this feature work?  We’ll add your name and other details to the AutoPilot Express Users page.  AutoPilot Express looks up the names on the list and runs the AutoPilots for each individual.  The process is repeated every hour throughout the day.  Let us know if you want to get a confirmation email each time the AutoPilots are sent.  The email will have your UserName and the total number of AutoPilots processed in the last hour.  (The default setting is to NOT get an email each hour.)

How do I get started?  Just let us know you want to use AutoPilot Express, and we’ll get it set up.  We’ll need your Database Name and name(s) of the User(s) who want this service turned on for them.  Just send an email to info@prosws.com and ask for AutoPilot Express.

How much does this cost?  It’s FREE!!!  We want everyone who wants this exciting feature to be able to use it without paying more to get it.  Just let us know and we’ll set you up!
